Studio for Anne Sutton

Anne
is a weaver who collects artworks and craft objects. We designed a miniature
building for her collection, located in a courtyard behind her house, which
works in composition with a bridge of green oak by Jim Partridge.One side of the building is fully glazed between oak mullions and looks across to her house. The other side, which faces the surrounding area, is covered with red cedar boarding. All timbers are unpainted, allowing them to weather to a grey colour.
